I Think I’ll Stick with Catholic Causes

January 10th, 2013

Shelley Lubben & Ron JeremyA few days ago, I posted a very favourable description of Shelley Lubben, and explained that I’m making an exception in not endorsing and supporting any organization that contradicts some Catholic doctrine by contributing to the Pink Cross Foundation. I have been ill, and have not had an opportunity to mail a cheque to Shelley yet. However, this may have been a good thing.

Today I happened upon some unfavourable information about Shelley Lubben and the Pink Cross Foundation, and it was not from the pornography industry, but Shelley Lubben’s family and other Christians that are against pornography. Some of this information is below.

I will not be writing a cheque to the Pink Cross Foundation and I will continue to only support Catholic organizations. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.

Here’s a good reason to only support Catholic causes:

I’m sorry you’ve fallen for the tricks of the pornographers who are after Shelley Lubben. It’s pretty well known that Shelley has been and continues to be slandered; she has had her websites hacked into and filled with malware, and has been picketed by porn stars and porn supporters – and that’s just the really mild stuff that’s happened to her and her family. It should come as no surprise that those who hate her for telling the truth – whose forces are also joined by her former friends, family, and people she’s helped – would be spreading lies. Porn is still big business, so of course the Evil One will slander her and turn everyone against her. I still believe that Shelley and her Pink Cross are honest.
